4th Dec 2007

'Tis the season to be jolly except if you are a supermaket checkout operator. I know the job is onerous, but the surly young ladies in their early 20's working at both PaK N Save Moorhouse and New World City South Christchurch aren't doing anything to promote their stores. At 11am in the morning they could at least put a smile on and give more than a grunt. At the end of a hard day you might forgive them, not halfway through the morning. It's only the 4th Dec ladies, another 20 days to go yet!!.......

...... and in the 'Dog who has everything' dept comes the story of Universal records releasing a CD for dogs (inaudible to humans). it feature videos of 14 dogs modelled as elves and songs with the audio pitched at a frequency so high that only dogs can hear it. Mine is almost totally deaf, so I don't think I'll put that on his gift list. Reviews of the CD from the SPCA dog pound have meen mixed.
