The political correctness of bureaucrats have reached new heights with Public Health bosses bleating about the innovative ploy of the Otago Health Board to get nurses to front up to hear of job offers back in NZ by offering them a free glass of Speights. A glass of beer is hardly corrupting the morals of these ex pat lasses and lads but according to the media spokespersons, the offence is getting the Southerner Speights bar in London to sponsor the free beer. Bloody hell! It's probably more offensive if our health dollar was being used to shout the drink and at least someone in the ODHB has got the initiative to save on our overseas funds. Get a life Health Officials and get into the real world! Find something important to get your knickers in a twist.

AND.... here's a bit of useful health information from the useless information department.
Remember the tune of the Bee Gees "Stayin Alive"? Well apparently it has the same beats per minute as what is required for CPR chest compressions (100 compressions per minute). So when someone keels over in front of you and requires CPR, conjure the tune up in your brain and get to it!!
